Reversible Mounted Mouldboard Plow
The Ikeda Mouldboard Plow, in its reversible version, is indicated for work where there is plowing in two directions. This produces significant gains in productivity, such as in level curves, or when one desires to “tumble” the soil upwards in sloping terrains so as to minimize the risks of erosion. The reversal of the moldboards is archieved with a cylinder activated by the tractor´s hydraulic system. The Reversible Mounted Mouldboard Plow conserves all of the basic and traditional constructive characteristics of IKEDA.
The most used soil preparation system in the world use the MOULDBOARDS PLOWS.They are the only implements that completely loosen the soil at the desired depth and simultaneously incorporate the remains from previous crops with perfection.
Materials: IKEDA Standard
• Chassis in structural profile thoroughly measured with internal reinforcement.
• Columns (arms) in tempered and quenched SAE 1060 steel.
• Share (blade and Smooth mouldboard “shell”) in tempered and quenched carbon manganese alloy 1060/70.
• Polyethylene mouldboard “shell” in ultra-high molecular weight (UHMW) polyethylene.
• Two types of mouldboard, one for each type of soil.
